Ornge played a unique role at the G8 and G20 Summits in June of 2010. Paramedics were on standby throughout the landmark event, prepared to provide urgent medical transport to any of the Internationally Protected Persons (IPP’s) in the event of an emergency. Leading up to the opening of the Summit, CityTV visited the Ornge Toronto base to meet some of the people who had been given this important responsibility.
