A

ACAT Safety Conference 2021

From March 2 - 4 2021, Ornge's Aviation Safety Department hosted the forth All Canada Aeromedical Transport (ACAT) Safety Conference. Our 2021 event was different from previous conferences as it took place virtually; nonetheless, we welcomed numerous participants, representing fixed and rotor wing EMS operations from nearly every province and territory across Canada.

When the ACAT Safety Conference began in 2016, it was with the intent of coming together as a Canadian Aeromedical community to discuss safety related topics, share best practices and learn from one another. As time has passed, the ACAT Safety Conference has been able to contribute to the advancement of safety in the Aeromedical Sector of the Canadian Aviation industry. By working with, and learning from, other Canadian EMS operators we can all be safer together.

Thank you for participating in our ACAT Safety Conference, we look forward to next years' event.

Manager, Aviation Safety
