Nicki's Story

Nicky Galley, New Liskeard, ON

I was a passenger on a motorcycle that collided with a bear 45 kilometres from New Liskeard, ON. I was flown to Health Sciences North, and again to St. Michael's Hospital. I am forever grateful to Ornge, the two paramedics and pilots, for their fast response, professionalism, medical expertise and compassion. In addition to my multiple injuries, you knew holding my hand gave me the courage to survive
